Area volleyball programs Boone Central, High Plains and Humphrey St. Francis finished off regular season schedules on Thursday night.
Boone Central split a pair of contests with a win over Pierce and a loss against Crofton, D-2 No. 5 St. Francis finished with a win and High Plains split results in a triangular.
Teams will now prepare for sub-district tournaments that begin on Monday.
D-2 No. 5 Humphrey St. Francis def. D-1 No. 6 Central Valley, 25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 25-18: The Flyers improved to 19-4 on the season and won their seventh in a row. Allison Weidner led two teammates also in double digit kills with 19. Caitlin Jarosz chipped in 16 while Kylee Wessel had 10. Weidner also had three aces, Alissa Kush had 31 digs and Peighton Eisenmenger had 53 assists.
St. Francis opens the sub-district tournament on Monday in Greeley against St. Edward.
Boone Central def. Pierce, 25-21, 25-18: Mara Ranslem was tops in kills for the Cardinals with eight, Marysa Duerksen had 12 digs and Paige Nelson had 26 assists.
Crofton def. Boone Central 25-21, 15-25, 25-14: BC held Crofton to .078 hitting and couldn't overcome its own mistakes while finishing the regular season schedule 9-21. Boone Central now faces Central City on Monday in the first round of the sub-district tournament at Columbus High.
High Plains def. Nebraska Lutheran, 25-19, 25-18: Brooke Bannister led the Storm attack with nine kills while Brianna Wilshusen and Kenna Morris each had four.

Osceola def. High Plains 22-25, 28-26, 25-14: Bannister led with 12 kills, Wilshusen had eight and Morris seven. High Plains finished the regular season 15-14 and will face Twin River at 6:15 p.m. on Monday in Shelby in the first round of the sub-district tournament. Osceola's final record was unclear at Friday's deadline. The Bulldogs play another group of Bulldogs, Friend, on Monday at 4:30 in the first round of the sub-district tournament in Utica.
