Try 3 months for $3

It's only Monday, but Nebraska's penultimate weekend of 2019 official visitors is starting to round into form.

Outside linebacker Dylan Jordan (Pittsburg, Kansas) was visited Monday morning by head coach Scott Frost and defensive coordinator Erik Chinander and affirmed that he is indeed visiting this weekend.

Jordan also announced that he'll be shutting down his recruitment next week, meaning this is likely his final official visit. Jordan has visited Utah and TCU the past two weekends. He had made references to potentially visiting Kansas, Kansas State and also Auburn, but will apparently come to Lincoln and then decide on the Pac-12, Big 12 or Big Ten.

It is also expected that defensive tackle Matthew Pola-Mao (Chandler, Arizona) will visit. The Chandler High lineman is cousins with Noa Pola-Gates, who made his signing with NU public Saturday night.

While in San Antonio for the All-American Bowl earlier this month, Pola-Gates told HuskerOnline that Pola-Mao would probably visit Jan. 25 and that he might come along. Considering we now know that Pola-Gates was already signed at the time he said that, it seems likely the visit is still happening.

Pola-Mao, like Pola-Gates did, has Arizona State and USC among his finalists along with the Huskers.

Just keep in mind that recruiting is fluid all the time and especially in the waning days of the cycle. And it's only Monday.

The Huskers have used 42 of 56 official visits so far, per the Journal Star's tracking. That includes six to date in January.
