Scouting: This is the first time Rutgers has finished ahead of Nebraska since the teams joined the Big Ten. The Scarlet Knights have steadily improved in a very difficult league. Leading scorer Eugene Omoruyi, who was coming back from a knee injury the first time the teams played, will be fully healthy for this one.

Trending: There will be no random student managers or other athletes on campus suiting up this week to help Nebraska with depth.

"I didn't see Scotty Frost running over here with some help," NU coach Tim Miles joked Tuesday, "so he's no good to us."

It will be the eight healthy bodies Nebraska has, and no more. Expect Thorir Thorbjarnarson to get the start, with walk-on Johnny Trueblood first off the bench depending on foul trouble.

Forecasting: The victor gets Maryland on Thursday in the tournament's second round. Any type of run by Nebraska in Chicago would be a memorable one, especially after the way the Huskers came back against Iowa. It certainly won't be easy, but maybe the Huskers play with some newfound freedom knowing their situation.
