US 30 Speedway

U.S. 30 Speedway capped off another night of racing Thursday and saw some new faces get feature wins.

Tristan Kunze Grape got his first feature win of his career in the CNC Repair IMCA Hobby Stocks class. He now sits in ninth place in the U.S. 30 track standings after his victory.

Jeff Ware finished in second during the race but still sits in first place in the track standings, third place nationally and first place in the state.

In the Kosiski Auto Parts Bragging Rights Late Models presented by National Auto Sales class, Tad Pospisil came away with the victory. This is his second feature win of the season at U.S. 30 Speedway. Chase Osborne finished in second; followed by Zach Zentner.

In the Zegers Automotive IMCA Sport Mods, Robbie Thome passed the finish line first. He is now in 16th place in the track standings at U.S. 30 Speedway. Thome is also in ninth place in the state for the Northern Sport Mods division.

Austin Svoboda came in second place, and David Johnson rounded out the top three.

In the BT’s Bar IMCA Stock Cars class Damon Richards was able to hold off the Wilkinson family, as Jason and Kyle Wilkinson finished in second and third.

Richards sits in first place for track standings and fifth place for state standings. Richards who is a rookie to the class is also in fifth place nationally for rookie points.

Despite not getting the victory on Thursday night, Jason and Kyle Wilkinson are still sitting at first and second in the state standings for Nebraska.

The next race for U.S 30 Speedway will be at 8 p.m Thursday.
