After 25 total seasons and 17 in charge, Jody Pelan is stepping away from the head volleyball coaching position at David City Aquinas.
Pelan's retirement from varsity coaching was announced Tuesday by Athletic Director Ron Mimick. Her quarter century on the sidelines included the C-2 state championship in 2009 and an overall record of 262-241.
Pelan will continue as a middle school teacher.
