“I'm really proud of her,” Muntz said. “I didn't think she'd stand and work all the way through, but all the hard work I put her through paid off. Some of my favorite memories are just running with the goats, letting them go as fast as they could, and chasing after them. I've been showing for a long time, and along the way I've learned hard work, made a lot of friends, and had a few wild moments, like getting dragged in the ring. Winning today feels great, and I'm excited for whatever comes next."

“Growing up with him was tough but fun, the struggles made us better,” Muntz said “Winning Grand Champion left me shocked and happy because I never expected it. My favorite memories are how he'd nibble at my shorts and stay so sweet and tame whatever I walked in. Now that we've won, the goal is just to keep getting better.”
Drew Wachal uses his showman abilities to win senior showmanship at the Butler County Fair goat show on July 16, 2026.
“I've been working with her since the day she was born, just a few minutes every day, sometimes longer if I had the time,” Wachal said. “Winning the championship feels good, but it's mostly focused on what's next. Hopefully she'll go to the market and compete well there.”

“I've grown a lot this year,” Helgoth said. “Coming in as the youngest senior, I didn't think I'd place, but once I stepped into the ring, I felt confident. I've worked hard on my breeding goats, getting them springy, open, and fed right, and seeing that effort pay off today made all the frustrating moments worth it. I love showing, I love the connection I have with my goats, and seeing my hard work come together at the county fair is the best part.”
